North Queensview HomesDear Tony:

We would like to thank you and everyone else at Riccardo’s who helped us have a most perfect 40th Birthday Party for our cooperative, North Queensview Homes, Inc. We especially appreciate your effort to serve ethnic foods not ordinarily included in your buffet as well as the patience shown at the time of our flower delivery.

We are so elated with the success of our affair held at Riccardo’s on Sunday afternoon, May 16th, that we feel impelled to write to you expressing our gratitude. We are not new to Riccardo’s, in that we used your facilities in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1987 and 1997. However, the quality of the food and the service rendered by your Staff this year were outstanding. Starting with the eight (8) hot hors d’oeuvres right through to the dessert, all of the food was plentiful and delicious, served in an elegant and pleasant manner. We must give special mention to your General Manager, Charles A. Campione.

On the eve of the affair, we had to make changes in the seating plan we had previously faxed to you. Charlie Campione was very patient, cordial and understanding and extremely cooperative in making last minute changes. At the affair, he stayed on the floor for the entire five (5) hours making certain that all of our guests were satisfied in every respect. He even acted as MC, when he felt it was necessary, and kept our party alive.

We also must compliment Charles Campione for his excellent common sense. We made a mistake in indicating where we wanted to locate the bar. After it had been set up, he was willing to relocate it nearer to the hors d’oeuvres for the cocktail hour, but then came up with a better idea. He had the waiters take drink orders from everyone so that they would not have to cross the dining area to get to the bar. We have received the most favorable comments from all who attended our May 16th affair.

Our Wedding

Dear Riccardo’s,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know why I chose Riccardo’s to have my wedding reception at. My mother and I visited twelve different reception sites and three Bridal Showcases. We were able to narrow our selection down to two: Astoria World Manor and Riccardo’s. When we made the decision to go with Riccardo’s the deciding factor was Eleanor. During all three visits to Riccardo’s, Eleanor was very professional and efficient. Eleanor made us feel that she would, personally if need be, make sure every thing went smoothly on our special day. Eleanor took the time to show me the different rooms each time I came in and answer the many questions we had. Never once did I feel like she was “just doing her job.” Please extend my heartfelt thanks to her for a job well done.

Sincerely Yours,
Ms. Karen Lynn L.

Leap Year Celebration Party!

February 29 Calendar PageThank you so much for the contribution you and your staff made to the howling success of our Leap Year Celebration February 29th. Your consideration and help, along with Barbara’s and Sandra’s, in planning the event gave us peace of mind. The Tiffany Room, when we arrived, had been transformed into a majestic fairyland. The food was excellent and the service was complete, fast, pleasant and gracious at all times. Elio and Charlie were terrific. The guests didn’t want to leave when the time was up. And it was so nice that you never rushed anyone.

We have already recommended Riccardo’s by the Bridge to a number of our friends. We hope they have the good sense to use your facilities for their upcoming events.

Thanks for helping us provide such a happy time for everyone.

St. Patricks Church 135th Anniversary Celebration

St. Patrick's R.C. ChurchWe are writing to you on behalf of Fr. Robinson, Sr. Flora, and the 135th Anniversary Committee. All we can say is WOW!! Our dinner dance on March 13th was a huge success, and is still being talked about by the people who attended. We have received so many positive remarks from the people in attendance, and the many members of the clergy that were with us to share in the celebration of our 135th Anniversary. You and your staff did a remarkable job handling the more than 400 people in attendance. Our compliments to Charlie, and his wonderful staff of servers, chefs and kitchen people. The food was hot, the food was good, the food was plentiful, and the service was great! We must admit, that we were a little nervous about seating and feeding so many people, but you and Charlie and the staff performed miracles!

We also want to compliment your office staff for being so kind and helpful to us. They put up with our daily interruptions and questions, and handled everything in a very professional manner. The people at Riccardo’s are really an extended family to us, and always make us feel so at home, and so welcome.

Thanks again for your support, concern, kindness and commitment to the people of St. Patrick’s Parish.
