War Veterans Temple Post No. 19

TEMPLE POST NO. 19
Masonic War Veterans of The State of New York

Gentlemen:

We are so elated with the success of our affair held at Riccardo’s on Sunday afternoon, May 16th, that we feel impelled to write to you expressing our gratitude. We are not new to Riccardo’s, in that we used your facilities in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1987 and 1997. However, the quality of the food and the service rendered by your Staff this year were outstanding. Starting with the eight (8) hot hors d’oeuvres right through to the dessert, all of the food was plentiful and delicious, served in an elegant and pleasant manner. We must give special mention to your General Manager, Charles A. Campione.

On the eve of the affair, we had to make changes in the seating plan we had previously faxed to you. Charlie Campione was very patient, cordial and understanding and extremely cooperative in making last minute changes. At the affair, he stayed on the floor for the entire five (5) hours making certain that all of our guests were satisfied in every respect. He even acted as MC, when he felt it was necessary, and kept our party alive.

We also must compliment Charles Campione for his excellent common sense. We made a mistake in indicating where we wanted to locate the bar. After it had been set up, he was willing to relocate it nearer to the hors d’oeuvres for the cocktail hour, but then came up with a better idea. He had the waiters take drink orders from everyone so that they would not have to cross the dining area to get to the bar. We have received the most favorable comments from all who attended our May 16th affair.

Gratefully,
Leonard S.
Over-All Chairman
